Green Chile Turkey Stew
Made with an array of seasonings, this delicious turkey stew has pizzazz! Try on warm tortillas for something different. Prep Time: approx.
   25 Minutes. Cook Time: approx. 105 Minutes. Ready in: approx. 130 minutes .

2 packages (3 to 4 lbs.) Foster Farms Turkey Thighs
2 to 3 tablespoons oil

1  white onion, coarsely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (7 oz.) diced mild green chiles or 6 to 8 fresh green chiles, roasted, peeled and diced
1 can (14 oz.) single strength beef broth
2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
1 teaspoon ground oregano
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  salt to taste

1. Remove skin from thighs and cut meat from bones. Cut thighs into 1-inch pieces.

2. In a 5-quart kettle, brown half of the turkey at a time in hot oil. Remove meat from pan.

3. Saute onion and garlic until onion is soft but not browned. Return meat to pan and add remaining ingredients.

4. Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours. Uncover and simmer an additional 10 to 15 minutes to thicken sauce, if desired.

5. Serve topped with sour cream or spoon onto warm four tortillas.
