Essential Job Functions
1. Develop and implement new methods, procedures, and systems to improve service, cost, quality, and safety performance.
2. Use performance feedback information based on standard line speeds and productivity rates to optimize work productivity & labor efficiency using continuous improvement tools: OEE, Focus Improvement, Centerline, Attainment & Reliability Improvement Plan.
3. Supervise the development and execution of crewing, materials, and equipment plans that generate service levels consistent with Company objectives.
4. Supervise material usage to ensure minimal waste, and maximum yield while maintaining strict adherence to formulations and specifications.
5. Work with receiving and purchasing functions to ensure proper rotation and optimum inventory levels for all materials and supplies.
6. Supervise production activity to ensure compliance with all formulations, specifications, methods, procedures, and practices so that product quality meets all specifications & standards for wholesomeness, appearance, dimension, weight, flavor, & texture.
7. Supervise minute-to-minute and hour-to-hour operational and personnel activity to ensure compliance with GMP's and all housekeeping (Five S) and sanitation standards.
8. Supervise operation to comply with all applicable safety laws and regulation, as well as Company safety policies, procedures and standards.
9. Supervise employee performance, recognizing and rewarding positive contributions, and exercising the Company's progressive discipline policies when applicable.
10. Train and develop employees to support key performance goals for the Company.
11. Direct all personnel activities in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
1. Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in business, technical, or related discipline preferred, or applicable equivalent experience
2. Three years food manufacturing experience, with two years in a shift management or production supervision role.
3. Strong leadership skills and ability to act independently.
4. Ability to effectively plan, organize and prioritize work.
